Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer

Join the company’s European R&D hub as a Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer. In this high-impact role, you will lead enterprise Linux infrastructure deployments, manage storage systems and network connectivity, and ensure the stability of complex HPC clusters and engineering lab environments.

What will your tasks involve?

  • Linux Administration: Manage, patch, and optimize RHEL and Ubuntu server environments supporting engineering tools (NIS, SLURM, Jenkins).

  • HPC & LAB Infrastructure: Oversee High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, CAD server infrastructure, and connectivity for engineering labs scaling up to 480 hosts.

  • Storage Systems: Administer NetApp ONTAP and Dell Unity storage systems, maintaining NFS, iSCSI, and SMB protocols.

  • Networking & Datacenter Operations: Configure Cisco switching (VLANs, trunks, LACP, STP), support Palo Alto firewalls, and perform datacenter hands-on tasks (rack/stack, cabling, power planning).

  • Automation & Virtualization: Automate routine operations using Bash, Python, or Ansible, and support VMware ESXi/vCenter cluster configurations.

  • Escalation & Leadership: Serve as an L2/L3 escalation point, lead infrastructure projects during office relocations, and manage vendor relationships.

What we expect from you?

  • Experience: 6–7 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.

  • Core Technical Skills:

    • Strong expertise in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu).

    • Deep experience with storage systems (NetApp, Dell Unity) and protocols (NFS, iSCSI, SMB).

    • Solid networking fundamentals (Cisco switches, VLANs, LACP) and basic firewall administration.

    • Scripting & automation proficiency (Bash, Python, Ansible).

  • Datacenter Ops: Experience with datacenter hardware installation, cabling, and physical rack/stack operations.

  • Language: Professional English proficiency (B1+ minimum).

Nice-to-Haves (Plus Skills)

  • Experience with VMware ESXi / vCenter virtualization environments.

  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.

  • Background working with HPC cluster tools (SLURM, EDA tools) or supporting large-scale R&D lab environments.
