General Accounting Supervisor with German (f/m)

We are seeking a General Accounting Supervisor to drive and elevate the accounting operations in a global setting. In this role, you will balance team management, financial reporting, and compliance with active business partnering.

Note: This position involves occasional international travel (around 30%), mainly to Germany.

• Managing, training, and mentoring a team of accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of all accounting processes;
• Preparing comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) to inform stakeholders and guide decision-making;
• Proactively collaborating with Finance and Non-Finance teams to drive organizational goals;
• Ensuring full adherence to financial regulations, tax obligations, internal policies, and accounting standards;
• Analyzing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance revenue streams, and optimize core accounting workflows.

• Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including key financial statements, cash flow impacts, budget preparation, performance tracking, and forecastin
• Collecting, organizing, interpreting, and communicating financial data clearly to support informed decision-makin
• Identifying operational challenges, developing tailored solutions, and implementing strategies to drive financial performance;
• Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including presenting complex financial data and engaging with auditors or vendors;
• Leading and managing a finance team by providing guidance, driving talent upskilling, and managing performance expectations;
• Prioritizing and managing multiple complex tasks and projects simultaneously for oneself and the team to meet tight deadlines;
• Utilizing advanced financial software, tools, and systems to manage accounting data and conduct deep financial analysis;
• Staying up to date with financial regulations and ensuring strict adherence to relevant accounting standards and laws;
• Collaborating seamlessly across departments and business functions to achieve shared organizational objectives;
• Building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with key internal partners and external stakeholders;
• Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
